I'm thrilled to see the Savage Beauty exhibit honoring Alexander McQueen at the Met Museum in NYC still going strong. What thrills me even more is the fact that his work is no longer being referred to as fashion but as a work of art. One of his last presented collections included the armadillo-style platform heels pictured below, chosen as a work of art.
